ETH Zurich’s 2014 Annual Report is now available

ETH Zurich continued to grow in 2014. By the end of the year, some 18,500 men and women in total had studied at ETH Zurich during the period under review ¨C more than ever before. The number of visiting and exchange students also fell only very slightly last year, despite Switzerland no longer being able to participate in the Erasmus+ scheme and student exchange activities now taking place through the SwissEuropean Mobility Programme.

The trend in engineering sciences is pleasing given Switzerland¡¯s shortage of skilled workers, with an increase of 51 percent in the number of new Bachelor students in this field over the past ten years.
