Women and Girls in Science
The International Day of Women and Girls in Science takes place each year on 11 February. To mark the occasion, we take a look back at the history of women at ETH Zurich.
Although we still have a long way to go to achieve gender balance in research and academia, we have made a lot of progress since 1855. Today, over 8,500 female researchers and students contribute every day to making ETH one of the best universities in the world.
