A start-up accelerator for young social entrepreneurs: Student teams compete around the world for a chance to secure US$ 1 million in prize funding. This year, the quarter finals for Hult Prize, for the first time, is being held at ETH Zurich.

On 28 November 2014, ETH Global will host a lecture by Prof. Dr. Peter Zilla, MD Head of Chris Barnard Division of Cardiothoracic Surgery and Cardiovascular Research Unit at the University of Cape Town. He will lecture on the topic of "Tailor-made Innovations Rather than Imported First-World Technologies".
