RETHINKING INTELLIGENCE Exhibition
ETH Zurich dedicates its pavilion during the WEF Annual Meeting 2018 in Davos to intelligence, one of the last mysteries of humankind. Visit one of our media and networking events and invigorate your brain at ETH Zurich's RETHINKING INTELLIGENCE exhibition, Davos 22 - 25 January 2018.
RETHINK
RETHINK....a future that 3D prints artificial brains. Control an avatar with your thoughts. Challenge an artificial hand to a timeless game of rock-paper-scissors game - or simply play with a robotic dog.
Reprinting Intelligence
RETHINK a future that 3D prints artificial organs – imagine a brain and experience the magic of the human mind in augmented reality. ETH Zurich's Engineering Design and Computing Laboratory created the 3D printed brain.
Chain of Thought
We still don't exactly know how we think, how we store knowledge in the grey brain cells and how we recall. We can associate, abstract, plan and be creative. The latest Augmented Reality technology will take you on an journey through the miracle of human thinking along a thought chain.
RoboRat
ETH Zurich and the University of Zurich researchers debut a prototype of an autonomous robotic lab rat that uses built-in artificial neural networks to demonstrate intelligent animal behavior.
Dextra
Challenge Dextra, the robotic hand, to a timeless game of Rock-Paper-Scissors, but don't be disappointed if he seems to anticipate your every move. This robotic hand uses a brain-inspired neural network and camera to recognize your hand gestures.

BrainRunner
Using a brain–computer interface (BCI), the BrainRunner video game enabled Cybathlon competitors to control the movement of an avatar using only thoughts. Do you have the mental focus to will your avatar to the finish line? Stop by and play the game to see how well technology can in effect, read your mind.
ANYmal
Watch ANYmal, ETH Zurich's quadrupedal robotic dog, perceive its environment. This autonomous search and rescue robot can map its environment and navigate its path. ETH Zurich's Robotic Systems Lab designed ANYmal for autonomous operation in challenging environments such as the industrial inspection of oil and gas sites.
Be(at) Machine Learning
Play external page FindComb and detect the patterns to determine who is healthy and who is not, before your number's up! You will find out how machine learning makes vast sums of medical records manageable and why no human being would be capable of doing so.
TasteLab - Tastes to Trick Your Brain
Five natural scientists with a passion for cooking revolutionize the way we think about food. The TasteLab melds the latest methods and scientific knowledge to show the close relationship between science and food. Experiment with your taste buds with ETH Spinoff, TasteLab.
