The 2018 IEEE Medal for Environmental and Safety Technologies will be awarded to ETH physics professor Jér?me Faist, head of the?Quantum Optoelectronics Group at the Institute for Quantum Electronics, and to Prof. Frank Tittel of Rice University (US).
