Partial revision of the Personnel Ordinance, effective 1 January 2022
Following the partial revision on 1 October 2020, the Personnel Ordinance for the ETH Domain (ETH PO) has undergone further amendments which come into effect on 1 January 2022. The amendments ensure the Ordinance conforms to federal government and legal requirements.

ETH Zurich has a duty of care towards its employees. In order to fulfil this duty and adhere to personnel regulations, ETH Zurich is requiring employees as of summer 2021 to reduce high time credits by taking time off. As we are approaching the end of the year, here is a summary of the applicable rules for 2022/23.

“Put a full stop. When others don’t.” This slogan kicks off ETH Zurich’s new Respect campaign today. Following on from previous campaigns on this topic since 2004, Respect is once again at the top of the agenda for our university. This time the emphasis is slightly different: “Stand up for respect.”

Revision of personnel legislation with effect from 1 July 2013

The revised Swiss Federal Personnel Act (German, FPA) comes into force on 1 July 2013. Changes have also been made to the personnel regulations in the Federal Institutes of Technology Act (ETH Act, German) in connection with this.
Publica is lowering the technical interest rate on 1 January 2015

Due to the persistently low interest rate level, PUBLICA has decided to lower the technical interest rate to 2.75% on 1 January 2015. This decision will also entail an adjustment of the conversion rate.
Performance bonus 2013
Service info
Performance bonuses will be paid again in 2013. Each department or infrastructure division have funds to finance performance bonuses and to appreciate extraordinary efforts by employees.
