Invitation to ETH Day 2015
ETH Zurich takes the opportunity to recognise outstanding achievements at ETH Day, its academic holiday. The president and rector of ETH Zurich, Lino Guzzella and Sarah M. Springman, cordially invite the ETH Zurich staff to attend this year's ETH Day on Saturday, 21 November 2015.
(Updated: )
Outstanding accomplishment deserve recognition. ETH Zurich will continue its tradition of awarding honorary doctorates to people whose academic achievements have been particularly remarkable on an international level. The Federal Institute of Technology will also take the opportunity to thank everyone who served our university so well this year. In addition, we will recognize selected students and faculty members of ETH Zurich for their outstanding achievements.
The president and rector of ETH Zurich cordially invite the ETH Zurich staff to attend this year's ETH Day. Join us to look back on the previous academic year and raise a glass to its many success stories.
Prof. em. Dr. Gottfried Schatz, Biochemist and emeritus Professor of the University Basel, was supposed to hold the ceremonial speech. To our deep regret Professor Schatz died on 1 October.
