Falling Walls Lab Zurich seeks formidable talents
One idea, three minutes: that’s the challenge at the Falling Walls Lab ideas competition. The third Swiss qualifier will take place in September at ETH Zurich, with the winner earning a trip to the international final in Berlin.
Three minutes to convince the audience and jury of your innovative idea – that’s the challenge set by the external page Falling Walls Lab, which will take place for the third time in Zurich on 21 September 2016. The venue: the bQm Kulturcafé on ETH’s Polyterrasse, starting at 6.00 pm.
Falling Walls Lab Zurich is the Swiss qualifier for the international final in Berlin on 8 November 2016. Qualifiers are taking place external page at more than 50 locations around the world.
Master’s students, doctoral students, postdocs, up-and-coming researchers and young entrepreneurs are all invited to take part.
Research projects, business ideas and entrepreneurial and charitable initiatives may all be presented.
Detlef Günther, Vice President of Research and Corporate Relations at ETH Zurich, will be among the jury members.
ETH biomechanist Sabrina Badir external page was the 2015 winner of the Berlin Lab Finale. Her winning presentation introduced a device that can determine the risk of a premature birth.
