Special opening times and operating hours apply at ETH Zurich around the holidays.
Reduced services
All ETH buildings will be closed from Saturday 24 December 2022 until Monday 2 January 2023.
At the turn of the year, all customer counters will be closed – and will not respond to telephone calls or emails. You can still enter the buildings using your key or ETH card.
Help to save energy at ETH over Christmas:

What is the procedure for special incidents or emergencies?
For incidents concerning persons, buildings and infrastructure, the ETH Emergency Desk is at your service over the holiday period.

From 3 January 2023, all sports facilities will be open again during regular opening hours.
The ETH Library, special libraries, Collections and Archives will be closed from 24.12.2022 up to and including 02.01.2023.

The ETH eLink shuttle bus will continue to operate normally until 23.12.2022. After that, the service will be suspended until 02.01.2023. From 03.01.2023 the Download regular timetable (PDF, 451 KB) will apply again.
The Service Desk operated by IT Services will not be staffed from 24.12.2022 up to and including 02.01.2023.

Print and Publish
The large-format printing systems in the self-service areas and the Print and Publish webshops will not be in operation from 24.12.2022 up to and including 02.01.2023. Open orders will be delivered from 04.01.2023.
Post
ETH internal mail for delivery by Logistics by the morning of 23.12.2022 must be dropped off at the postal delivery points by the evening of 21.12.2022.
From 24.12.2022 up to and including 02.01.2023, there will be no mail collection or delivery. The normal postal service will restart on 03.01.2023.
A-Post and PostPac Priority items handed in at 必博官网,必博体育 Info by 22.12.2022 will be delivered throughout Switzerland in time for Christmas. Contact points for the Facility Services department – general information, lost property office, key management
All Info + Service Centres (ISC) will be open until 5 p.m. on 23.12.2022. After that, the counters will be closed up to and including 02.01.2023.
From 12 noon on 23.12.2022 to 02.01.2023, the Workshop platform will not process any requests. Please submit orders to be scheduled this year in good time.
Maintenance of buildings, facilities and outdoor areas
The Emergency Desk is staffed 24 hours a day throughout the holiday period. Dial +41 44 342 11 88 for external and mobile phone calls, or 888 for internal calls.
The ETH card (electronic identity card) allows access to the student workstations and offices in many of the ETH buildings. You can find more information about this at 24-hour access to student working places. Buildings without an electronic door system may be accessed with a key as usual.
The H?nggerberg underground car parks are accessible throughout the holiday period. In an emergency, please contact the Emergency Desk on +41 44 342 11 88 or 888 (internal calls).
A full winter service will be carried out for the roads on ETH premises, but only limited snow clearing and gritting for footpaths between 24.12.2022 and 02.01.2023.
Winter services for the student housing buildings at the H?nggerberg site are provided by the operators MIBAG Property Managers AG (HWW) and Livit FM Services AG (HWA, HWB, HWC).
