Other Master’s degree programmes
Even if you have a Bachelor’s degree from ETH Zurich you must still apply in the standard way for all specialised Master’s programmes and for all programmes which are not consecutive to your Bachelor’s programme.
Admission prerequisites
Holders of an ETH Zurich Bachelor’s degree who are interested in attending a specialised Master’s degree programme or in a Master’s programme which is not consecutive to their Bachelor’s programme must apply for it through the Admissions Office by the given deadline. The respective profile of requirements provides further information on the prerequisites set by your desired degree programme.
For instructions on applying online see here.
Specialised Master’s degree programmes
Specialised Master’s degree programmes address one particular topic, which is taught from an interdisciplinary and international perspective. They are open to students with outstanding results from various Bachelor’s degree programmes. Special entry requirements apply, and the number of programme places is often limited. Holders of an ETH Zurich Bachelor’s degree must also apply in the standard way for these programmes. Some specialised Master’s degree programmes, so-called “Joint Master’s” programmes, are offered in cooperation with other universities in Switzerland and abroad.
Non-consecutive Master’s degree programme
Applicants who select a Master’s degree programme which is not consecutive to their ETH Bachelor’s degree programme must also apply in the standard way for the desired programme. This applies, for example, to Bachelor’s degree holders in Physics who wish to apply for a Master’s programme in Computer Science.
Language prerequisites
Holders of a Bachelor’s degree from ETH Zurich are not required to present German or English language certificates.
