Formal prerequisites

You earned your Bachelor’s degree at a recognised university of applied sciences in a external page signatory state of the Lisbon Convention. Your Bachelor’s degree is based upon academic accomplishments comprising at least 180 ECTS credits. Your degree also qualifies you to enter a consecutive Master’s programme without additional requirements at a university in the original university system.
Any other academic accomplishments recognised must also have been acquired at a recognised university.

At the time of application you do not yet have to present the Bachelor’s degree. If you are admitted you must submit proof of the Bachelor’s degree, including the final overall grade, by the beginning of the semester at the very latest.

We only accept applications which are submitted online by the deadline and which contain all required documents.

A degree from a university of applied sciences in other countries unfortunately does not qualify the holder for Master’s degree studies at ETH Zurich.
