Accessible PDFs - made easy
PDF documents are created every day by lecturers, research assistants, and communications staff: Informational letters, lecture notes, and exercise sheets, to name a few. Unfortunately, the needs of people with disabilities are too often forgotten in the process.
In this 2-hour course, you will learn what to look for to make your PDF documents accessible to people with disabilities. Two plugins for MS-Word and MS-PowerPoint will be introduced, as well as the web-based tool PAVE.
In the hands-on exercises you will have the opportunity to apply what you have learned.
