Quality check request
Once you have completed your protosite, you may request a quality check. The quality check is the final step before the site goes online. Be sure to have visited the quality checklist to ensure a smooth quality check pass.
After requesting a quality check, there is a freeze period. Please do not make any changes to your website during this time. A check for accessibility and usability compliance will be made and if the site passes, IT Services will be informed that the site is ready to go live. You will receive an email from the CC web team when your site is live.
Important Information
Migration of older website:
- If you are migrating the content of a website to the new system, please be sure that all relevant content is on the new website before requesting a quality check and go live of a protosite. Your old website will no longer be publicly visible.
- If migrating content from an existing website, please maintain the content on your existing website to avoid any interruption in the delivery of information to the public. We cannot guarantee a definite time for the quality check and go live of a website.
Quality check timing:
- Quality checks are usually done within a week. However, depending on the number of quality checks in the queue, it can take up to two and a half weeks to receive feedback. (NOTE: THERE IS A HIGH VOLUME AT THE MOMENT)
- Then, please allow an additional week for the go live from IT Service's side (after quality check is completed).
